Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones have finally revealed what their Normal People-related tease earlier this week was all about.Earlier this week, the pair of Mescal and Edgar-Jones took to social media to tease something related to Normal People, with the latter writing “We’ve got some news to share!! Watch this place,” alongside a photo of them on her Instagram Story.Now, the duo have finally opened up about the tease, shutting down speculation that the show is returning for a second season anytime soon. Instead, the two have announced a special charity screening of the entire show set to take place on June 16 at a Central London cinema that has yet to be revealed.Mescal and Edgar-Jones will raffle tickets to a special marathon screening of Normal People on the big screen.

The first ‘Downton Abbey’ film (released in 2019) more than doubled the worldwide box office of the second film, ‘A New Era’ (released in 2022), but that isn’t stopping Focus Features from going back for a third time. And for the third ‘Downton Abbey’ film, it looks like some major names are joining the cast.

A third film in the popular British historical drama franchise was confirmed by Focus Features on Monday.Julian Fellowes, who created the beloved television series that spawned the films, is writing the new movie. Simon Curtis, the director of the second film, “Downton Abbey: A New Era,” will also helm the third film.Various cast members are returning, including Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Robert James-Collier, Joanne Froggatt, Allen Leech and more.

A third Downton Abbey movie has just been confirmed!

Focus Features and Carnival Films are officially in production on Downton Abbey 3 with main cast members returning and a number of new additions to the feature franchise spawned by creator Julian Fellowes’ global TV phenomenon. Simon Curtis is directing after helming 2022’s feature sequel Downton Abbey: A New Era.

Naman Ramachandran Actor George MacKay has reunited with his “For Those in Peril” director Paul Wright for “Mission.” Backed by BBC Film, Screen Scotland and Ffilm Cymru Wales with funding from the U.K. National Lottery, “Mission” is a co-production between Early Day Films (“Bait”) and 65 Wilding Films (“Baltimore”). The project was developed with Screen Scotland and BBC Film.

Star of the sitcom W1A Hugh Bonneville will return for its spin-off after a seven year hiatus.The mockumentary, which ran for three series, saw Hugh play lead character Ian Fletcher who became the Head of Values at the BBC. Jessica Hynes starred as Ian’s hapless PR, Siobhan. Also appearing across the show were the likes of Jason Watkins, Monica Dolan, Hugh Skinner, Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey and David Tennant as the narrator.
