As it turns out, the Trump Organization worked with accused Long Island Serial Killer Rex Heuermann on a very recent architecture project. WHOA!
A new filing from the New York City Department of Buildings indicates Heuermann worked on a project involving one of former president Donald Trump‘s buildings just a couple years ago. As you will no doubt recall, Heuermann is accused of killing at least three women whose bodies were found along a half-mile stretch of Gilgo Beach, Long Island back in December of 2010.

According to People, which obtained the NYC Department of Buildings’ filing in question for a report on Thursday, Heuermann was hired to renovate some office space on the 17th floor of the Trump Building at 40 Wall Street in Manhattan.
That job, for which Heuermann landed back in October of 2018 — while Trump was serving in the White House — was done to adjust architecture work on “a minor partition and plumbing changes.” For the gig, according to the news outlet The Real Deal, Heuermann was reportedly paid $200,000.
The building in question is quite a property. It’s a 72-story landmark that sits right in the middle of the Wall Street financial district. It was initially built way back in 1930; Trump acquired it in 1995 after it sat vacant for several years.
Of course, the shocking part of the story here has to do with the architect himself. The 59-year-old Heuermann was arrested last week outside his Midtown Manhattan office. He is accused of being involved in murders of multiple women who were found slain on Long Island’s Gilgo Beach more than a decade ago.
