DJ and producer Erick Morillo was found dead at his Florida home yesterday. He was 49.Morillo was due to appear in court later this week on sexual battery charges.

Erick Morillo, who rose to fame with his catchy track “I Like To Move It”, has sadly passed away at the age of 49.

DJ and producer who made music in the early 1990s using the alias Reel 2 Real. In 1993, he teamed up with Trinidadian singer the Mad Stuntman for the dance floor sensation “I Like to Move It.” The track appeared in the animated film “Madagascar.” He started his own record label called Subliminal Records, releasing a full-length album and many singles. Morillo was arrested in July for battery of a woman from an incident in Miami Beach in December.
