Johnny Depp‘s fans will be happy to know that his Captain Jack Sparrow likeness is still intact on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland.
The ride has been closed for refurbishment since March 14 and it was unclear whether Captain Jack would remain a part of the ride.
After Depp won his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, it seems Disney decided not to make any changes to his character’s involvement in the ride.

Deadline reports that the ride reopened on Friday (July 1) and “fans were there en masse to experience the revamp.” The ride had to be closed multiple times during the day, but one reason for the closures was to create a better crowd flow around the attraction due to the high demand.
