Jazz Tangcay Artisans EditorA biopic of Afeni Shakur — the late mother of rapper Tupac and a prominent member of the Black Panther party — is in the works from Amaru Entertainment and the Shakur Estate.Titled “Peace, Love & Respect; the Afeni Shakur/Panther 21 story,” actor/singer Jasmine Guy and writer/director Jamal Joseph — who was arrested as one of the “Panther 21” with Afeni — are on board as executive producers, while Dina LaPolt, who worked with the estate for many years, is a producer. The film, titled “Peace, Love & Respect, the Afeni Shakur/Panther 21 story,” is the first to have the full backing and approval of the Shakur estate.The doc will span a pivotal two-year period — from April 2, 1969, when she and 20 other Black Panthers were arrested and charged with conspiracy to bomb police stations in New York, through June 16, 1971, the day Tupac was born — along with flashbacks to childhood and teenage years.

Both high and low blood sugar levels can cause a number of health complications.
Hyperglycaemia is when blood sugars reach high levels with low levels referred to as hypoglycaemia.
Those suffering with diabetes - bothy type one and type two - can be affected by hyperglycaemia, so too can pregnant women with gestational diabetes.
Fortunately, there are some dietary additions that can help, reports The Express.
Hussain Abdeh, Superintendent Pharmacist at Medicine Direct, notes that blood sugar levels being too high can cause a number of symptoms to occur.
“One of the most widely talked about is a fruity smell on your breath, which can occur due to the high level of ketones.
“You may have a very dry mouth at the same time and also experience an extreme thirst. You might find that you need to urinate more often than normal, this can also be a sign of high blood sugar levels.”
Nonetheless, the pharmacist says that drinking a sufficient amount of water each day “helps your kidneys to flush out excess sugar through your urine”.
He says: ”This could help to lower your blood sugar levels if they are excessively high. Studies have also shown that people who drink enough water have a lower chance of high sugar levels.”
The pharmacist also says that exercising regularly works to increase insulin sensitivity, which means that the body’s cells can use blood sugar more effectively.
“When you are exercising, your muscles are able to use blood sugar for energy.
“Make sure you stay hydrated so that your body can keep going as you exercise, and avoid high-sugar energy snacks as this can counteract the effects exercise can have on effectively
