In a jaw-droppingly emotive confession, he told her: "I think I've liked you for a long time.
I think you're beautiful." Luckily for James, the feelings were mutual, and they came together to share a passionate kiss. Naturally the scene delighted many Derry Girls fans, with most of the show's loyal viewers having been reduced to tears following the lovely moment.
