Derek Webster To Recur On Fox’s ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’, JR Bourne On Netflix’s ‘On the Verge’

Nellie Andreeva Co-Editor-in-Chief, TVFox’s four returning drama series, 9-1-1, spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Resident and Prodigal Son, will be back in the air with new seasons in January. The network on Wednesday released a promo teasing the upcoming return of the series, which are now in production.The network also unveiled tweaked Monday and Tuesday lineups.

9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Resident, and Prodigal Sonwill all return for new seasons in January after being off the air for most of 2020. The Fox fall schedule was packed mostly with sports and reality shows, minus Filthy Rich and Next, which were pushed from their original spring premieres to the colder months of the year after the COVID-19 pandemic forced productions around the world to shut down back in March.

That meant “9-1-1,” “Prodigal Son” and “The Resident,” which premiered in September last year, were pushed to midseason when Fox released its schedule over the summer.However, “9-1-1: Lone Star” is used to the January start, which is when it debuted in 2020.
