Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats share new music in “Unlocked” short film

Dirty Projectors are back with a new single, “Overlord.” Their first song in two years features their guitarist and vocalist Maia Friedman on lead vocals. According to a press release, the new song has been described by the band as Joni Mitchell’s “‘Both Sides Now’ for an Amazon Prime world.” Watch the video below.

Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats just dropped their first collaborative album, UNLOCKED. The announcement came just a day ahead of the drop via an animated short. This is Curry’s first project since last year’s ZUU, while Kenny worked with Rico Nasty, 03 Greedo, and DaBaby in 2019.
