Loose Women's Denise Welch couldn't stop smiling as she enjoyed a night out in London with her son Matty Healy. Matt, who is the frontman of the band The 1975 and has been romantically linked to singer Taylor Swift in the past, joined his mum on Wednesday evening for a trip to swanky seafood restaurant J Sheekey.The 65-year-old opted for a casual look including blue jeans, a striped top and denim jacket, paired with white chunky trainers.
While Matty, 34, appeared relaxed as he donned all black with a V-neck jumper and pinstriped trousers. As they happily posed and waved, it was clear to see that Denise couldn't contain her happiness and beamed alongside her son for a series of pictures.
Placing a hand on Matty's shoulder, the duo seemed in high spirits as they spent some quality time together. Denise shares both Matty and his brother Louis, 22, with ex husband actor Tim Healy.
And Denise regularly posts on social media about how proud she is of Matty and shares videos of attending some of his jam-packed gigs.Their fun night out in London follows the exciting news that the star is set to take on a new role of Queen Elizabeth II in a concert-style musical, based on the life of Princess Diana. Named Diana the Musical, it will see an older Diana both narrating and reflecting back on her life and that of her 19-year old self.The 19-year-old version will be played in two parts, by Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Anything Goes) and Maiya Quansah-Breed (original cast member of Six), while Denise will tackle the older role solo.
