Her long-awaited album Miss Anthropocene is due on February 21, and today brings the arrival of new song "Delete Forever." You can stream the folkily melodic new tune below.

Grimes‘ upcoming album, Miss Anthropocene, is mostly a futuristic look at art and society, but her latest single, “Delete Forever,” offers something different. The stripped-back, acoustic track tackles the tragedies of the opioid epidemic, and was partly inspired by the accidental overdose death of rapper Lil Peep.

Grimes has shared “Delete Forever,” a new song from her upcoming album Miss Anthropocene. Check it out below. In an interview for Apple Music’s Beats 1, Grimes told Zane Lowe that the song is about the opioid epidemic, noting that she wrote it on the night that Lil Peep died. “It’s a pretty bummer song,” she said.
