Death in Paradise star reveals she’s haunted by ghosts - ‘I don’t even flinch anymore’

Death in Paradise's Anna Chancellor has revealed that her home is haunted by ghosts ahead of her role in Amazon Prime Video comedy-drama My Lady Jane.
The actress, who appeared in a 2019 episode of Death in Paradise, spoke to OK! in an exclusive chat about filming the upcoming series, which retells the story of Lady Jane Grey, England's shortest-serving monarch. Anna - who has starred in Pride and Prejudice, The Crown and Four Weddings and a Funeral, plays Lady Jane's mother Lady Frances Grey in the upcoming series. Speaking about filming the comedy-drama at Dover Castle, Anna revealed that she went ghost-hunting one day with her co-star Dominic cooper.
"Dominic was like, 'We're gonna go look for ghosts,' and I was thought that was fun because it was windy," she said whilst imitating spooky wind noises. "We were going up a hill and looking around, it was windy. "And then suddenly Dominic went, 'What is that? Is that a ghost?' And I said, 'I really don't care,' because I feel like I've been in many haunted houses." Anna added that she's used to ghosts wandering around in her home.
"If I hear crash, bang, wallop in my house, I don't even flinch. I think, 'That's probably a ghost.' I've gotten over being scared of ghosts." Dominic wasn't so brave, according to Anna. "He went running back.
