Despite all the celebrated performances, there’s no overlooking Jim Parsons’ villainous turn as agent Henry Willson, one of the many real-life people in this revisionist take on history. His portrayal in Netflix's limited drama marks his first on-screen performance since saying goodbye to his longtime role as the highly idiosyncratic yet lovable physicist Sheldon Cooper on, which ended in 2019.

In the midst of the pandemic, fans of Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series The Politician were worried they wouldn’t see a second season anytime soon. Luckily, Murphy has confirmed a second season is coming in mid-June.

Ryan Murphy’s limited series follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers — Jack Castello (David Corenswet), Raymond Ainsley (Darren Criss), Archie Coleman (Jeremy Pope), Camille Washington (Laura Harrier) and Claire Wood (Samara Weaving) — trying to make it during post-World War II era of Tinseltown.

Netflix might have pressed pause on production its original series and movies as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, but the streaming service still has plenty of new content on the way for the month of May. For starters, Ryan Murphy continues his TV takeover with Hollywood, his latest star-studded Netflix series, which arrives on Friday, May 1.

Netflix may be bringing some exciting new titles to its streaming library next month, including Ryan Murphy's Hollywood, Damian Chazelle's The Eddy, and a Michelle Obama documentary, but the streaming service will also say goodbye to some of the movies and shows in its library in May.
