So, is he coming back anytime soon?“Days of Our Lives” fans were heartbroken in 2015 when actor Peter Reckell returned to celebrate the soap opera’s 50th anniversary and say an official goodbye to his character, Bo Brady. Bo came home to Salem to have an amazing reunion with his family, friends, and of course, his wife Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Sadly, the happy reunion didn’t last long.
Bo was quickly diagnosed with a brain tumor. He later died in Hope’s arms, marking one of the most tragic deaths in the sudser’s history.However, nearly a decade later, Bo was revealed to be alive thanks to Megan Hathaway and her work to gain the three prisms. During Season 2 of “Beyond Salem,” Bo’s body was brought back to life after being kept in a cryogenic chamber.
Bo later returned to “DOOL” when he was found by Marlena, Kate, and Kayla in Greece.When Bo was resurrected, he had memories of his former life. However, he didn’t care about his family back in Salem. Instead, he wanted to use Megan and Rolf’s knowledge to become a wealthy man like his father, Victor Kiriakis.
Of course, once Hope found out that Bo was alive, she did all she could to try to bring him back to his former self.Just seconds after Hope got through to Bo, the couple’s son, Shawn, did the unthinkable. Shawn fired his gun at his father, whom he believed was about to harm his mother. Sadly, the gunshot wound put Bo in a coma.
