For a long time fans have been calling for a middle-aged version of the popular dating show Love Island - and now it's actually happening. ITV have now confirmed the brand new reality TV show will take to screens this autumn with the name 'My Mum, Your Dad'.
The series will be hosted by Davina McCall, 55, who previously wrote to ITV to pitch the idea. The Masked Singer panellist, who presented Big Brother for 10 years during its run on Channel 4, told Dragons Den's Steven Bartlett on his Diary Of A CEO podcast that she was “literally begging” the broadcaster to let her present a “midlife Love Island”.
The upcoming reality show will see a group of single parents over 35 who are looking for love live together in countryside house. But in a twist unbeknownst to the contestants, their children will be watching their every move whilst hiding in a nearby location.
