David Spade to guest host Bachelor in Paradise amid Chris Harrison's break from franchise after racism row

Chris Harrison is looking back on his time in Bachelor Nation. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the longtime host expressed gratitude following the news that he will not return to the franchise.«I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter,» he wrote.

Chris Harrison has reached a deal with Warner Bros. and producers to exit the "Bachelor" franchise following a racism controversy earlier this year.  The news comes just hours after the Season 17 premiere of "The Bachelorette" and days after it was revealed that the longtime host, 49, would not be returning to his duties on "Bachelor in Paradise," opting instead to let David Spade fill in for him.  Deadline reports that Harrison struck an eight-figure deal with the franchise and Warner Bros.

Chris Harrison has exited the franchise after 19 years.

Deadline reported Tuesday morning.Harrison, who hosted the ABC series and spinoffs since 2002, reportedly received an eight-figure settlement and is stifled by a confidentiality agreement, according to the site.A representative for the show did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.
