David Duchovny recalled his brief tenure on Sex and the City and working with franchise star Sarah Jessica Parker.
The 63-year-old X Files star made a brief cameo playing Carrie Bradshaw’s (Parker) old flame Jeremy. During his one-episode stint, the pair contemplated rekindling their high school romance, but things did not work out.
In a new interview, he revealed that he had wanted to make a comeback but things did not work out. Despite that, he had only good things to say about working with Sarah.

Speaking to People, David said that there might have been a chance for him to return, but it was not in the cards.
“We had talked about doing more and never ended up doing it,” he recalled. “I would’ve loved to have done more of that show.”
David gushed about Sarah, saying, “We really had an immediate, easy working rhythm. I loved working with Sarah.”
Sarah is currently in the midst of filming the third season of the show’s spinoff series And Just Like That. Check out photos of her on set.
