Popular dating show Love Island has been cancelled for the first time ever.
Love Island will not go ahead this summer, ITV have confirmed.The show was due to be filmed in Mallorca this summer but, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, is unable to take place this year. ITV's director of television Kevin Lygo said: "We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.
