Daniel Stendel has broken his silence on binning Christophe Berra – and insisted he treated the axed Hearts skipper with respect.
The former Scotland international revealed his “hurt and anger” at being told he is free to leave the Jambos.
He insisted the decision came as a shock as just two days before being told he was getting married.
But head coach Stendel is adamant he treated the 34-year-old with the utmost courtesy.
The German, who has also booted out Glenn Whelan and Aidan Keena, said:
