‘Dancing With The Stars’ season premiere wrap up

 Carole Baskin  is eliminated from Dancing With the Stars season 29. The animal rights activist performance wasn’t enough to continue in the competition and win the Mirror Ball trophy.

Will Thorne Staff Writer“Dancing With the Stars” twirled its way to the top of the TV ratings charts once again on Monday night, as it faced stiff competition from the Stanley Cup finals on NBC.The ABC dancing show scored a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 and drew just over 7 million total viewers, as “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin was mauled off the show. That means it retained 100% of its demo from last week, and is up on the same week last season.

Carole Baskin received low scores and wasn’t saved by fan votes on Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars.” Much to the fans' delight, the “Tiger King” star was sent home after performing a samba to the song “Circle of Life” from "The Lion King" during the show’s Disney Night. Baskin, 59, and her partner, Pasha Kovalev, sported lion costumes and makeup during the routine.

Anne Heche was in the bottom two on Monday night's episode of — and she doesn't want to be there again. The actress and her partner, Keo Motsepe, found themselves up for elimination, with the judges choosing tosave them over Carole Baskin and Pasha Pashkov. «Do you wanna walk the plank because I don't,» Heche tells ET moments after escaping elimination.

Carole Baskin became the second celeb to get the boot on this season of, and she's opening up about her elimination and her time on the show.«I don't feel shocked at all,» Baskin told ET's Lauren Zima via video chat after Monday's episode. «The people who stayed on the show can really, really dance, and that's what the show is all about.»Baskin and her pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, found themselves in the bottom two on Monday, alongside Anne Heche and Keo Motsepe.

That represents a 30% ratings bump from last season’s premiere.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians will stop filming after 14 years- nothing is surprising. And with a dramatic year like 2020, it is only right that the season 29 lineup for Dancing With the Stars is the most interesting, chaotic, and alluring to say the least.
