Dolly Parton will host the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards, producers announced today. The two-hour show will stream live without commercial interruption on Prime Video Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Country music icon Dolly Parton will be hosting this year's Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, bringing her star power to the show's new streaming home on Prime Video.Parton, along with soon to be announced co-hosts, will emcee the new format for the awards show, which will be live streamed March 7 without commercials from Allegiant Stadium."Watch for us because we’re going to have some fun,” Parton said in a press release on Thursday.Parton is a 13-time ACM Award winner, including for the coveted entertainer of the year prize. Robert “Bob” Wall was a martial artist and actor who appeared with Bruce Lee (1940–1973) in movies including “Way of the Dragon” and “Enter the Dragon.”Wall studied martial arts alongside Chuck Norris, becoming a ninth degree black belt in Norris’ Tang Soo Do. Lana Del Rey has performed a new song with country singers Nikki Lane and Sierra Ferrell, titled ‘Prettiest Girl In Country Music’.Del Rey made a guest appearance during Lane’s show in Austin, Texas, over the weekend, where the trio sang the track for the first time. Elton John has tested positive for COVID-19. The singer took to social media on Tuesday to share the news. "Hi everyone, wanted to send a message to let you know that I have contracted COVID and so have had to reschedule my shows in Dallas," the 74-year-old wrote on Instagram Story.

Badal Roy was a pioneering Indian tabla player who played with jazz legends Miles Davis and Ornette Coleman.  Badal Roy (born Amarenda Roy Chowdhury) moved from East Pakistan to New York City in 1968 to work on a PhD program in statistics. He learned tabla from an uncle and had taken lessons from renowned tabla player Alla Rakha.
