DaBaby Released From Miami Jail, Expected Back In Court

The biggest game night in the West is just a week away and fans are gearing up for the Super Bowl LIV on 2 February. While the Super Bowl half-time performances will be headed by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, there are a whole lot of stars reportedly turning up to watch the championship game. According to a latest report in TMZ, musicians Cardi B, Lady Gaga and DJ Khaled are expected to be at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami next Sunday. 

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are reportedly poised to return to the Bad Boys franchise for another sequel following the projected box office success of the new Bad Boys For Life.

The man who has accused DaBaby of assault and robbery says he has plans to sue the rapper, according to TMZ. On Thursday, the rapper was arrested on battery and robbery charges in Miami in connection to the incident. While the amount the accuser is seeking in the lawsuit is still unclear, he says he was left with cuts and bruises after the rapper reportedly assaulted him, stole his iPhone, credit card, $80 and poured Apple Juice on him.

DaBaby was released from jail on January 4—and it didn’t take long for him to tease new music on Instagram Live.

Grammy-nominated star DaBaby was detained on Thursday (Jan. 2) by the Miami Police Department for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred earlier in the day.  

DaBaby was arrested on Thursday in Miami for alleged battery after being questioned over possible involvement in a robbery of a music promoter, who claims he was also doused in the face with apple juice during the incident.

Jonathan Kirk — a rapper better known as DaBaby — was arrested on battery charges in Miami, Florida, on Thursday, January 2, Us Weekly can confirm.

DaBaby was arrested for battery in Miami on Thursday, January 2, after allegedly robbing a man, according to a police report obtained by TMZ. The Grammy-nominated rapper allegedly took $80, a credit card, and the victim’s iPhone 7 before dousing him in apple juice, the report claims. The victim in question is a concert promoter, who DaBaby said shorted him money for a performance, which led to the scuffle, according to the police report. The victim was not named in TMZ‘s report.
