Cuba Gooding Jr. is avoiding prison.
The 54-year-old Men of Honor star pled guilty to a charge that will result in no jail time, per a conditional agreement made last April, WABC-TV reported Thursday (October 13).
Earlier in the year, Cuba pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge for forcibly kissing a nightclub worker in New York in 2018, following his arrest in 2019.

He would go on to meet the terms of the plea arrangement, including staying out of trouble and going through six months of alcohol and behavior modification counselling. He was then allowed to withdraw his initial plea, and plead guilty instead to a noncriminal harassment violation.
Cuba will face no additional penalties, and will not have a criminal record. If he did not abide by the deal, he could have faced a jail sentencing for up to a year.
The forcible kissing incident is one of many misconduct allegations against the actor over the years. He still faces civil litigation from accusers, including an accusation of raping a woman in New York in 2013. Get more details about the accusation.
