Dust off your DNA swabs and black lights, CSI is making a comeback. According to multiple reports, CBS is looking to revive CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for a limited series just in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the premiere.
CBS declined to comment on the revival miniseries reports.

You can never have too many crime procedural shows, folks, that's just a fact. So, even though it's been off the air for just a few years now, there's still plenty of room for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation to make a comeback to TV, and it looks like that's exactly what may happen at CBS.
One of television’s biggest drama series franchises is plotting a comeback. I hear CBS is mulling a “CSI” event series to mark the 20th anniversary of the original series’ October 2000 premiere. The idea is for new installment, from writer Jason Tracey (“Elementary”), CBS TV Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer TV, to be set in Las Vegas and be a sequel to the mothership “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” sources said.
