There are few shoes quite as polarising as a pair of Crocs, and now the footwear brand has taken its love-them-or-hate-them shoes one step further by creating a pair of cowboy boots.
To kick off its month-long Croctober festivities and celebrate the footwear's fan base (affectionately known as Croc Nation), Crocs is redefining its creativity and bringing to life some of its fans’ most asked for designs. As one of the most widely-requested Crocs styles in the brand’s history, it was only right that the first design unveiled was the Crocs Cowboy Boot.
Officially launching on October 23 – which is Crocs’ fan-created holiday, Croc Day – the controversial design will become a reality, so you can combine your love of Crocs with one of autumn’s must-have footwear styles. The boots are set to cost $120, or £98, on the Crocs website and at selected Crocs retailers, and will be available for a limited time only.
The polarising Crocs Cowboy Boots, £98 here, will feature a high shine croc-embossed texture, and have plenty of cowboy themed design details, such as western-inspired stitching and a country upgrade for Duke, the brand’s crocodile mascot, who will be sporting a cowboy hat on the black and white rivet detail. There’s also a spinning spur charm attached to the backstrap, and they’re embellished with unique metallic Jibbitz charms to fully customise your brand new Crocs Cowboy Boots, £98 here.
Despite not even being in stores just yet, the Crocs Cowboy Boots, £98 here , have already caused quite a stir on social media. After sharing them on the official Crocs Instagram account, people were divided on whether they love them or loathe them.
