But the production will not return to New Mexico, where a criminal investigation and state workplace safety proceedings remain unresolved. The production is still looking for a new location, but California is a possibility, said Melina Spadone, the attorney for Rust Movie Productions LLC. The production company announced a settlement on Oct. 5 with Matthew Hutchins, the widower of the cinematographer. Under the agreement, the production will be able to resume after a 15-month hiatus. Matthew Hutchins said in a statement that completing the film would be a way “to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work.”

Liza Foreman Cineflix Rights has presold Helium’s ten-part Australian crime drama “Last King of The Cross” to Sky.  Starring Tim Roth, the series will air exclusively in all Sky territories in Italy, the UK, Ireland and Germany, the company has announced.  Inspired by John Ibrahim’s best-selling autobiography, which follows his rise from a poverty-stricken immigrant to Australia’s nightclub kingpin, “Last King of The Cross” tells the story of two brothers who lose each other in their ascent to power. Set in Sydney’s Kings Cross in the 1980s and 1990s, the cast includes Lincoln Younes (“Grand Hotel,” “Tangle”), Claude Jabbour (“Eden,” “Stateless”), and Callan Mulvey (“300: Rise of an Empire”). Cineflix Rights is the exclusive international distribution partner.   

Tim Roth-starring Australian drama Last King of the Cross has been picked up by Sky in Europe, marking the first major sale of the Paramount+ series as it heads to Mipcom Cannes.

R&B singer Ginuwine was fighting for his life after a dangerous stunt went wrong during a rehearsal at Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars show. Earlier this week, the 51-year-old artist, reportedly was unconscious after he dunked himself underwater while holding his breath in a glass box with heavy chains on the outside, according to the Daily Mail.  In a video obtained by the media outlet, the "Pony" singer was seen being quickly pulled out of the water after being submerged in the cube for at least 10 seconds.

MailOnline said the "Pony" rapper was rehearsing an underwater stunt with Criss for The CW's "Magic With the Stars." Video published by the outlets shows the R&B artist submerged under water in a glass cube. While holding his breath, he then bangs his hands against the glass cube to show that he's distressed. Criss and his team immediately opened the cube and rescued Ginuwine. "You ok?" Criss asked the singer, prompting a nod.

Magic is probably off the table for Ginuwine after a recent trick-gone-wrong, at least for a while.
