Country singer Ashley Monroe reveals blood cancer diagnosis

Comedian Kathy Griffin has revealed to fans that she has lung cancer.The 60-year-old took to Twitter and Instagram to share her diagnosis with fans, telling them she is due to have surgery to have part of one of her lung removed. She hopes she "should be up and running around as usual in a month or less" and has reassured fans that she will be "just fine." She revealed that the cancer is at stage one, which means it is small and has not yet spread anywhere else.

Kathy Griffin, 60, took to social media on Monday August 2 to tell fans that she’d been diagnosed with stage-one lung cancer. She revealed that she’s going to have surgery to have half of her left lung taken out as a treatment. Even though it’s certainly shocking news, Kathy said that her doctors have high hopes for the procedure, and she wants to start bringing her hilarious comedy to fans again.
