A councillor called a couple who lived next door a 'peeping Tom', 'pervert' and 'tart', a court heard.
Brendan Murphy, 79, who represents Disley near Stockport, was convicted of two charges of harassment at Stockport magistrates court on Friday, March 19, CheshireLive reports.
He had denied both counts , which were said to involve neighbours Margaret and Christopher Boyd.
