India, Poland and some territories in the Middle East are the latest areas where movie theaters are rapidly being shuttered as the the World Health Organization on Wednesday declared a global coronavirus pandemic. 

Poland has become the latest country to close down cinemas and public institutions in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus. On Wednesday, the Polish government announced it was shutting down all cinemas, schools, universities, theaters and museums for two weeks.

In the latest round of cancellations amid coronavirus fears, Pentatonix, Zac Brown Band and Carlos Santana have pulled the plug on their scheduled tours.Pentatonix announced the unfortunate news that their world tour, scheduled to kick off on March 16 in Warsaw, Poland, will no longer happen. "Despite our best efforts and intentions, it is, simply, no longer possible for us to execute this tour the way we want to: safely, confidently and completely," their statement read.
