Corey was part of a gang that attacked Seb (Harry Visinoni) and kicked him to death in an unprovoked attack that began with abusing Seb's girlfriend Nina Lucas ( Mollie Gallagher ) over dressing as a goth.
Coronation Street fans have pointed out a major plot hole in Seb Franklin's murder being pinned on Kelly Neelan, arguing that she couldn't possibly have carried out the attack alone. Shock scenes that aired last week saw Seb (played by Harry Visinoni) killed in a hate attack as he tried to stick up for girlfriend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) who was being targeted by a gang over her goth appearance.

Viewers complained to the communications service regulator after the vicious attack was aired on ITV on 5 May.The hate crime storyline culminated in teenagers Seb and Nina, who are played by Harry Visinoni and Mollie Gallagher, being the victim of a horrendous hate crime attack by a gang led by Corey Brent.
