ITV confirms that fan favourite character Norris Cole is to be killed off next week. Norris has been absent from the soap for a while now, as actor Malcolm Hebden confirmed earlier this year he won't return to Coronation Street due to health reasons.

Coronation Street star Sally Carman has confirmed that Abi Franklin and Kevin Webster will split in upcoming episodes.
