Coronation Street fans were left in tears on Wednesday night as Weatherfield's residents discovered that Norris Cole had died. Norris, played by Malcolm Hebden, has been a key character on the cobbles since 1994 and he last paid a visit to the street in 2020.
Coronation Street star Jane Danson, 42, has opened up on the secret recipe for her successful long marriage to husband Robert Beck. Attending the TRIC Awards, held in partnership with OK!, the stunning star, who is renowned for her iconic role as Leanne Battersby, told OK!: "Me and my husband have been together for 22 years, and we're really good friends as well as loving each other lots." Jane compared her off-screen marriage to her relationship on-screen with Nick Tilsey.
Next week's Coronation Street will see Weatherfield's residents gather for Norris Cole's funeral following the sad news of his death. It was revealed last week that the residents will discover that Norris has died after suffering a stroke in emotional scenes on the ITV soap.
