Coronation Street casts Fiz Stape's new love interest - and this is where you have seen him before

Earlier on the episode, it saw Hope left jealous over her unborn sibling, especially when she discovered it was a baby boy, as she said that she "hates" it and Tyrone.

Next week's Coronation Street will take a dramatic turn after pregnant Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) is rushed to hospital after the salon flat is set on fire deliberately. Unsettled by Alina's pregnancy, Hope, who has been left upset over Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) splitting from her mother Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine), goes back to her old trouble-making ways.

Coronation Street has cast ex-Peaky Blinders star Jamie Kenna as Fiz Stape's new love interest, Phill Whittaker, on the ITV soap. Phill will make his Weatherfield debut later this week when he asks Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, on a date to Speed Daal.
