Woman who died after being hit by car named as police make urgent appeal

in Wigan has been named. Elizabeth Anne Lythgoe tragically died as a result of her injuries following the collision on July 3.The 70-year-old was walking down Slag Lane in Lowton at around 9.15am when she was struck by a white Mini One car.She was making her way along the pavement with a 73-year-old woman when the incident happened.Both women were taken to hospital in life-threatening conditions but Ms Lythgoe injuries proved fatal.
