After six weeks of drama, 31 Islanders and some 'L-bombs', the 2020 winter edition of hit ITV2 show Love Island finally came to an end tonight (Sunday 23rd February).

Shaughna Phillips' job at Lambeth Council is being advertised online after the Love Island star quit to be on the show.The 25 year old, who is set to lock horns with Mike Boateng in an upcoming challenge in the villa, left her role as a democratic services officer to find love in the South African villa. Despite reports claiming the council have left the door open for her to return should she wish to, they've put out an ad to fill a similar position.

Maura Higgins has revealed the reason she believes the Love Island viewer ratings have dropped.The 28 year old, who found fame on the show in 2019 with current boyfriend Curtis Pritchard, said there's two explanations for the dip, which saw 800,000 fewer people tune in to the show.The first, she said, is because of the lack of hot men who have entered the South African villa. She explained: "I feel like I don’t find the boys as hot this series.

Love Island’sMike Boetang has sent shock waves across the South African villa and the UK as he hinted he has feelings for Sophie Piper.The 24 year old former police officer is seen hinting at his affections towards Rochelle Humes' 21 year old sister in the teaser clip for Wednesday night's episode, which aired at the end of the show on Tuesday 28 January.

Upcoming South African film ‘Moffie’ has already made a massive impact on the world stage. The film will have its premiere over the next few months in Palm Springs (US), Norway, Ireland and Mexico. The film has enamoured audiences around the globe already with sold-out screenings and high praise from critics in London, Stockholm and Glasgow and also had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September last year.
