Companion album to David Bowie ‘Moonage Daydream’ documentary film announced

EXCLUSIVE: Asha Bromfield (Riverdale, Locke & Key) will adapt her 2021 debut novel, Hurricane Summer, into a feature film for Neshama Entertainment of Toronto. The film will be distributed globally (outside of Canada) by MarVista Entertainment, which has a minority stake in Neshama.

One of the founding members of the country band Alabama, Teddy Gentry, was arrested on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge Monday.  Gentry, a bass player for the music group, was put behind bars in the Cherokee County Jail in northeast Alabama and was additionally charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, records showed.  The 70-year-old bassist was released about a half-hour later, according to Alabama court records. David Bowie is set to receive a stone on London's Music Walk of Fame in Camden. The late 'Starman' hitmaker - who died following a secret battle with cancer in 2016 aged 69 - will be honoured with the tribute on September 15 at Camden Town Tube station. The music legend's stone joins those for The Who, Soul II Soul, Madness, and late icon Amy Winehouse.

The woman suing Horatio Sanz for alleged sexual assault has added Jimmy Fallon to the suit. In a filing obtained by Deadline on Tuesday, the woman, who claims former Saturday Night Live star Sanz sexually assaulted her in 2002, added Fallon, Tracy Morgan, and SNL creator Lorne Michaels to the complaint as “enablers”. The original filing claimed Sanz assaulted the woman - who remains anonymous - when she was 17.
