Microsoft is the latest company to drop out of next month's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco amid concerns over the spreading COVID-19 disease. "After a close review of guidance by global health authorities and out of an abundance of caution, we've made the difficult decision to withdraw from participating at Game Developers Conference 2020 in San Francisco," the company wrote in a blog post on Thursday morning.
Colin Kaepernick will publish his memoirs via his own company, Kaepernick Publishing, later this year. The as-yet-untitled book will be the first release by the company, which Kaepernick founded in 2019. In a statement the title is described as "part political awakening and part memoir," that will offer his most in-depth comments on his kneeling protest and his subsequent career fall-out in the NFL.
