Colin Firth & Stanley Tucci’s ‘Supernova,’ Matt Dillon’s ‘El Gran Fellove’ Set for San Sebastian

American actor Matt Dillon has joined the competition jury of the 77th Venice International Film Festival, replacing Romanian director Cristi Puiu, who had originally planned to participate. Dillon joins president Cate Blanchett in a seven-person jury that also includes French actress Ludvine Sagnier (8 Women), British director Joanna Hogg (The Souvenir), German filmmaker Christian Petzold (Undine), Austrian director Veronika Franz (Goodnight Mommy) and Italian writer Nicola Lagioia.

We Are Who We Are, an eight-part television series directed by Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name) will have its world premiere in San Sebastian as part of the festival's special screenings program. Produced by HBO and European pay-TV group Sky, the series is a coming-of-age tale exploring friendship, first love and sexual identity through the story of two adolescents living on an American military base in Italy.
