Supermarket chain The Co-op has wowed shoppers with their brand new meal deal that will cost them just £5 for a range of frozen family favourites.
The deal comes just as families across the country are continuing to feel the pinch of the cost of living crisis, with prices rising on food, energy and petrol. The latest rise families will be faced with will be a £380 surge in their annual grocery bills, due to inflation rising to its highest level in 13 years.
With food prices rising, many families will be looking for ways they can stock their freezer with a range of crowd pleasing meals that everyone can enjoy without breaking the bank.
Which is exactly why one bargain hunter couldn't help but share the amazing deal that is perfect for families. Tom Church, co-founder of Latestdeals.co.uk, recently took to TikTok to share the frozen meal deal in a video that has quickly gained 50k views from impressed shoppers.
The incredible deal includes a range of frozen favourites, including crispy chicken dippers, garlic bread, battered onion rings, garlic potato wedges and a choice of three ice cream tubs - Carte D’Or, Vienetta or Kit Kat.
It means that families, especially those with little ones, can stock up on a range of frozen favourites that will make mid-week meals that bit easier and cheaper. Not only that, but outside of the deal, all the items included would individually cost around £13, meaning shoppers are saving almost a whopping 50% with the deal. The ice cream alone usually costs £3.85, almost the same price as the entire deal.
