Following Christian Eriksen’s incident on the pitch during Denmark’s first match of Euro 2020, where he fell down and needed CPR, the first words he spoke as he regained consciousness have been revealed.
German doctor Jens Kleinefeld was one of the first people on the scene at the Parken Stadium and helped deliver an electric shock that restarted the 29-year-old’s heart which now is being assisted by an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).

Fans were overjoyed on Tuesday morning as Danish footballer Christian Eriksen was seen for the first time since his distressing midgame collapse during the Euros. Posting from his hospital bed, Eriksen gave a thumbs up as he told fans he was feeling 'fine'.

According to ESPN, the 29-year-old football player is reportedly in stable condition at a hospital in Copenhagen, though team doctor Morten Boesen said in a press conference Sunday that Eriksen was "gone" before he was resuscitated on the pitch.
