Just days after leaving Chelsea, Pochettino was linked with taking over as United manager this summer. Eriksen is the one player in the Reds squad who already has experience working with the Argentine.
Eriksen spent seven years at Tottenham Hotspur, during which time he had Pochettino as his manager for five of those from 2014–19. It was in April last year that the United midfielder explained what it was like to have training sessions led by the 52-year-old at Spurs, hinting at what life could be like for United if he is appointed this summer.
