During the latest stop on his comedy tour on Friday (April 8) in Palm Springs, Calif, the 57-year-old comedian explained why he hasn’t talked more about getting smacked by Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars several weeks ago.

“I’m OK, I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid,” Chris said on stage, according to the Desert Sun newspaper. “Life is good. I got my hearing back.”
Chris and Will, 53, made headlines several weeks ago after Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith – who has alopecia – and her bald head during the awards show.
Will then hopped up on stage and smacked Chris across the face, before yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out your f–king mouth.”
Since the incident, Chris has only made a few comments about it during his comedy tour.
