Chris Pine Wears a Ruth Bader Ginsburg Tank Top for His Walk Around Town

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is glad to be home after being discharged Wednesday from a Baltimore hospital, the court said. Ginsburg, 87, spent one night at the Johns Hopkins Hospital to receive nonsurgical treatment for an infection caused by a gallstone.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from a Baltimore hospital on Wednesday, the Supreme Court said in a statement. Her release comes just a day after the court said she was treated for acute cholecystitis, which was described as a «benign gallbladder condition.» 

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Tuesday with an infection caused by a gallstone, but plans to take part in the court's arguments by telephone Wednesday, the Supreme Court said. The 87-year-old justice underwent non-surgical treatment for what the court described as acute cholecystitis, a benign gall bladder condition, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Acute cholecystitis is a «benign gallbladder condition,» according to the office, and Ginsburg plans to participate in oral arguments Wednesday.
