There’s another Star Trek on the way!
The cast of the J.J. Abrams-led 2009 reboot is in talks to return for a new movie, via Deadline.
Paramount executive Brian Robbins and J.J. Abrams made the announcement at Paramount’s investors event on Tuesday (February 15).
The plot details for the film were not yet revealed. The next film is due in theaters on December 22, 2023.
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana and John Cho are all in talks to reprise their roles which they have played in three movies.
The studio has been trying to reunite the cast since 2018, following 2009′s Star Trek, 2013′s Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond in 2016.
