Marvel has two movies hitting theaters in the next few months (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in May and Thor: Love and Thunder in July). Now, Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Hemsworth‘s salaries for those films have been released!

Chris Evans might have left the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind, but that doesn’t mean the actor is leaving all blockbusters in the past. Not only is the former Captain America working on the upcoming Russo Brothers film, “The Gray Man,” which is Netflix’s biggest, most expensive action film to date.

Angelique Jackson Chris Evans will join Dwayne Johnson in Amazon Studios’ upcoming holiday film, “Red One.”Amazon Studios is developing the feature project, which is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia, president of production at Seven Bucks Productions. The film, which aims to shoot this year, is described as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.”Evans will next be seen starring in the Russo brothers’ Netflix spy film “The Gray Man” and will voice Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s “Lightyear.” Evans is in development on a biopic about Gene Kelly, in which he’ll star and produce, and he will next star in the Apple’s “Ghosted.” “Red One” will be directed by Jake Kasdan (who previously teamed with Johnson and Seven Bucks on the blockbuster “Jumanji” franchise) and written by Chris Morgan (who collaborated on “Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious,” “Furious 7,” “Fast & Furious 6” and “Fast Five”).Johnson will also produce the movie, alongside Hiram and Dany Garcia on behalf of Seven Bucks Productions.

Apple Original Films is partnering with Skydance Media on a multi-year, first-look film deal for Skydance to develop, produce and distribute an annual slate of live-action films globally.The deal is specifically for live-action features, and Apple and Skydance already have several films in the works including “Ghosted” with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, which begins principal photography next month, and “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” from “Green Book” director Peter Farrelly and starring Zac Efron and Russell Crowe (which recently wrapped production).Skydance will continue to produce its ongoing franchises with Paramount, including “Mission: Impossible,” “Transformers” and “Star Trek,” and audiences are still awaiting the release of “Top Gun: Maverick” this summer. Skydance is currently in production “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” and the next two “Mission: Impossible” films.

After setting its recent films Without Remorse, The Tomorrow War and The Old Guard at streamers, David Ellison’s Skydance Media has made a multi-year agreement with Apple to develop and produce an annual slate of live action global-minded movies that will be released through Apple Original Films.
