Chloe Goodman wrote a will before C-section: 'The kids could have grown up with no mum'

Chloe Goodman and her fiancé Grant Hall are settling into a routine as a family of four after welcoming baby Hudson in February via an early C-section. But the Ex on The Beach star explains it was far from an easy ride. After attending a smear test appointment, Chloe, 28, was advised and went ahead with having a cervical stitch for her pregnancy with Hudson.
But she later discovered that the doctors accidentally attached her bladder to her womb, which resulted in many complications during her pregnancy. Once the couple knew Hudson had been delivered safe and sound, Chloe and Grant, 30, were faced with another nightmare as doctors needed to act fast to remove Chloe's cervical stitch, which had previously gone wrong. And at one point, Chloe’s condition was so serious she made a final wish list and wrote a will moments before her C-section, in case she didn’t make it.
“Me and Grant were meant to do our wills ages ago,” she tells us. “When I was in the hospital, I realised if it all went wrong, I have to make sure he gets my money. Grant’s already got stuff in place.” Chloe added that she found the process of writing her will and final wishes "emotional", as she recalls "crying" with her husband-to-be.
And Middlesbrough defender Grant admits he contemplated the grim prospect that his two children could be without a mother if anything went wrong. “We had to take Isla into consideration as well. If anything happened to Chloe, Isla and Hudson would be growing up without their mum,” he adds.
