It’s over. Model Jerry Hall filed for divorce from media mogul Rupert Murdoch after six years of marriage, Us Weekly can confirm.

Rupert Murdoch told wife Jerry Hall their marriage was over via email and instructed her to only communicate with him via lawyers in future, it has been reported. Miss Hall, who turns 66 tomorrow (2 July), married the media mogul in 2016 and news the couple plan to divorce emerged last month, although no legal papers have yet been filed. A source close to the model told Mail Plus she is ‘heartbroken’ by the end of the marriage and blames Mr Murdoch’s children for their separation.
