Cheryl 'regrets' distancing herself from Sarah Harding after Girls Aloud split amid cancer battle

Sarah Harding is set to release a previously unheard song this week, with all profits going to the hospital that is taking care of her during her cancer treatment.The 39 year old announced last August that she had been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer, more recently saying the disease has now moved to her lungs, brain and spine.

Cheryl is said to be “regretting” the distance that developed between herself and Sarah Harding when Girls Aloud split in the wake of her cancer battle, a source close to Sarah tells OK! online. The girl band split in 2013 and while Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts remained close friends, Sarah is said to have felt she could only relate to Nadine Coyle.
