Davina McCall paid a touching tribute to Sarah Harding during Friday's Stand Up To Cancer telethon on Channel 4. The presenter, 54, first met Sarah, who was just 39 when she tragically passed away on Sunday 5 September following a battle with breast cancer, when she hosted Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, the singing competition show where Girls Aloud was formed.

Cheryl has posted a rare video to her Instagram stories where she thanks fans for attending her Mighty Hoopla event which was before Sarah Harding's tragic death.The star performed at the 2021 Might Hoopla on 4 September which was at Brockwell Park, London.The event took place just a day before Cheryl's former band member died of breast cancer. Sarah Harding died on the 5th September of this year aged just 39 after revealing that she was unwell in August 2020.
