The Wanted's Max George and Siva Kaneswaran have thrilled their fans by revealing that they will be reunited on stage later this year. The pair will be embarking upon tour dates across India in May, with Max sharing the news on Instagram with a video that showed where they will perform and when.
In the caption, he explained there would be a mini Wanted reunion, saying: "Myself and Siva can’t wait for this! Our first time in India.. Dream come true!" The Wanted's fans were thrilled with the news, with some imploring Max and Siva to visit their own home countries.
One wrote in the comments: "If you are back please come to Brazil, here you have many fans in love with u guys!" whilst another said: "Do you think I could cancel my wedding and use the money for this instead." A third wrote: "But what about Ireland tho?" as a fourth asked: "Will you be touring the uk again? X" It will mark the first time any of The Wanted band members have performed together since 2022, which is the year Tom Parker, who was one fifth of the band, sadly passed away from brain cancer.
The Wanted launched in 2009, comprising of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes.
They had some massive hits including Glad You Came and Rule the World. It doesn't appear that Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes are joining Max and Siva in India.
When asked if the band would perform again in a 2022 interview, Jay told Metro.co.uk: "We all feel weird about making those sorts of plans without Tom. We were a gang and went around the world together and it would feel odd to be doing that now as a four." The band were left devastated when Tom passed away aged 33 in March 2022, leaving behind his wife, Kelsey, and their two young children.
