Steve Jones has become a familiar face on our screens over the years, best known for presenting a variety of shows on Channel 4, including the F1 coverage. Tonight (March 17) the 45-year-old is set to host the network's brand new show Perfect House, Secret Location, which sees him help house hunters find there dream homes.
But unlike many other TV property shows, this four-part series comes with an unlikely twist. Although it is no surprise to hear of Steve's latest presenting stint, his career didn't begin in TV.
The 6ft tall Welsh presenter, who was born in Tylorstown, started out as a model. He posed for American men's magazine Esquire and later designed and modelled clothing for Very's in-house brand 'Good Souls'.

It was in 2002 that Steve landed his first hosting gigs for ITV Wales, co-presenting the Pop Factory Awards alongside fellow Welsh presenter, actress and model Liz Fuller. The show featured Welsh bands as well as more mainstream pop acts at the time like Sophie Ellis-Bextor and S Club 7.
Steve's first presenting role with Channel 4 came in 2003 on the weekend entertainment programme T4, where he mainly interviewed celebrity guests. After working on the show for seven years, Steve became one of the main faces of programme alongside his co- presenters Vernon Kay, Alexa Chung and Rick Edwards.
During his time on T4 Steve also embarked on another career path with his first acting role in the popular teenage romantic comedy film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
